Today is Frank’s birthday! And what better way to celebrate than to dedicate today’s post to my hard-working, talented, supportive and super handsome husband. Here are three things you didn’t know about Frank.

#1. Frank is an expert camper. No matter the day of the week or time of the year, Frank would rather be sleeping under the stars than in his own bed. He has every type of gear you would need…or might imagine needing…on a camping trip. Whether it’s out of his car, in a tent, in the backcountry or in a RV, Frank is prepared to make you feel right at home in the middle of nowhere. He even has a few specialty dishes that he cooks on a campfire that would make you think you were enjoying a home-cooked meal!

#2. Frank’s got talent. And I’m not talking about his photography skills! Frank is actually a pretty talented musician. A jack-of-all-instruments, if you will. My handsome husband has played in numerous bands throughout the years, including one where he played the drums with my uncle…before we ever met! Frank’s list of musical instruments include the drums, guitar, ukulele, trumpet and harmonica.

#3. You would want to be with Frank in the Zombie Apocalypse. No, seriously. He is always prepared for any situation…ever. He’s always got a plan in place, a bag packed and an exit route mapped out. Just in case. This girl has grown quite accustomed to feeling safe having him around. And should the unlikely happen…well you know, come on over to our house! 😉
