It’s party season!! And nothing says holiday party like a do-it-yourself photo booth! We thought we’d try it out for a little gathering we were invited to last weekend. It was so easy, and such a big hit!
Here’s what you need: a black sheet (twin size is perfect); card stock paper in colors of your choosing; fishing line (thank you, Frank!); a needle and something to secure the sheet to a wall, doorway or another flat surface in your home or party venue. We wound up using clothes pins and clamped the sheet to a free standing movie screen!
Find a stencil or free-hand a shape of your choosing. Cut the shapes out and use the needle and fishing line to string them together. For your props, there are a ton of free templates out there. We printed a few, traced them onto card stock and attached them to some color coordinated paper straws. Throw in a boa and some feathered masks and you’ve got yourself a party!
Don’t be afraid to get creative with it and most importantly, have fun! Here are a few shots of how everything came together….and of course, some of Frank and I just playing around!
