A Letter to 2020

Dear 2020,

You totally sucked. But you also taught us so many lessons. You taught us how to slow down and how to find new ways to connect. You forced us to learn how to get creative with work, school and play. We learned how fortunate we were to have good health and appreciated any chance we got to be with family. We remembered how important it was to care about the well-being of others and found so many ways to spread kindness. We learned to appreciate the outdoors and simple walks around the neighborhood and cherish those quiet moments with loved ones. Above all, you taught us how to be grateful for what we have.

May we leave the worst of the year behind us, but bring those lessons of gratitude with us into the year ahead. Wishing you good health and happiness in 2021.
