Kayla and Brandon were supposed to be the couple that kicked off our 2020 wedding season this past April. And while we all know that it didn’t turn out the way we had all carefully and meticulously planned, they still wound up being the first couple we witnessed say “I do” this year. Their rescheduled date for this fall was a date we were already booked, so when they reached out to have us photograph their intimate backyard ceremony, we were thrilled to get to be a part of it! The venue was in Marshall, Virginia, at the home of their officiant. She opened her patio and huge backyard to Kayla and Brandon, their immediate families and us. To say it was a beautiful backdrop would be an understatement. We loved all these moments we were able to capture and found out that we LOVE these small, intimate weddings! Kayla & Brandon are such a fun couple and their personalities really came through in the photos. We wish them may years of happiness and look forward to seeing photos from their big ceremony later this fall.
