We love this sweet couple and absolutely LOVED their wedding!

We were immediately drawn to Sarah & Owen when we met them at a downtown coffee shop. Sarah’s energy and Owen’s easy-going spirit made us feel an instant connection to these two and we were honored that they chose us to capture their wedding day. I had fun strolling around downtown Frederick with them last fall for their engagement session and we just knew that we would enjoy spending the day with their family and friends earlier this summer.

Sarah’s love for Frederick came through in her decision to work with local wedding vendors. We got to meet some amazing local business owners, now friendors, through this experience! Ory from Ory Custom Florals created the biggest bouquet you have ever seen for Sarah to carry, it was incredibly stunning! And it was the perfect accent to her vintage Posh Bridal wedding dress. And Minda from Love and Dishes Catering created the most delicious food and perfect, classy, peacock-themed décor for the reception at the Delaplaine Arts Center. And of course, it’s always a pleasure to hit the dance floor with our friends at the Dapper DJs!

Sarah and Owen’s vows were shared overlooking the creek as bystanders found a seat to get to be a part of their special moment. There wasn’t a dry eye around during their exchange of vows. I myself had to brush away some tears as they exchanged their marriage promises. As we walked the creek and surrounding downtown area, passerbys clapped for this couple as they walked by taking pictures. The energy coming from everyonearound them that day was perfection! It ended with a jitterbugging grandma and a packed dance floor! Truly an amazing day for an amazing couple!
