As I sit here to write this, I am at a loss for how to accurately express how much we loved getting to be a part of Katie & Mike’s wedding. Because it wasn’t just the wedding for us, but the whole process of getting to know this amazing couple over the last year leading up to an epic celebration. It does not get more genuine, kind, thoughtful, down-to-earth or more fun than these two! From the moment they walked into our booth at the expo last year, we knew we had to have them as part of the HLLP family and looked forward to their wedding from that day on!

Every detail was carefully planned with touches that reflected who they are as a couple. They had one of the most unique ideas for boutonnieres that we’ve ever seen and an incredibly dreamy ceremony site. They even found very special ways to include their pup, Penny, in the first look and ceremony. And… she may have made a different kind of “special appearance” in the back of one of their portraits, too!
