Today’s feature wedding is iconic Jersey and I’m so excited about it. Our last wedding of the 2017 season took us to the jersey shore; and before you go there…not that jersey shore! To Asbury Park, a place filled with art, music and history; where “The Boss” got his start playing the legendary Stone Pony; and where generations of jersey natives grew up making memories at the beach.

With a ton of colorful murals lining the walls along the boardwalk, Colleen’s vision for their portraits was legit. They allowed for a lot of time to walk around exploring all that the area had to offer and I grew more and more excited about their photos after each location. The artistic vibe has lived on beyond the area’s musical heyday; and the culture and history are present everywhere you turn.

Having had their marriage ceremony earlier this summer, this day was dedicated to celebrating Colleen and Mike with one epic party! And by the look of the dance floor throughout the night, I’d say that was a definite success. You won’t find a place that does an epic wedding better than New Jersey! And it was an absolute honor to photograph (and celebrate) with these sweet friends.
