Happy Little Introductions & New Headshots

Hi friends! For those that have been following along with us for a while, we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you! We are so grateful to you for being our supporters over these last few years. And since we have many new friends following along, we thought it might be fun to share a little #FridayIntroduction and show off some of our stunning new head shots taken by our friend Lindsay of 1783 Photography.

We are Alicia & Frank, the husband and wife team behind Happy Little Life Photography. We love that this business has allowed us to make so many connections with couples, wedding professionals and amazing people in our beloved community here in Frederick County, Maryland. We also love that this happy little business of ours gives us the opportunity to work alongside each other. Work doesn’t seem as much like work when you are doing what you love with the one you love! When we aren’t working, there is a good chance you’ll find us knees-deep in a home renovation project. And if not there, you may find us exploring the great outdoors. We love to travel and if you follow along with our blog, you will see some posts about our recent adventures.

My name is Alicia! I’m the one that our couples will talk to when they first inquire about our services. I’m the scheduler of allllll the things and the one that writes the emails, blog and social media posts. Hello! 🙂 I love, love, LOVE all these interactions with our couples throughout the planning process! And it makes me so happy to see the end result as all your plans fall into place on your wedding day.

I’m originally from New Jersey…and am a jersey girl through and through! And while I will always be true to my roots, I am really starting to feel at home in Maryland and am loving the life that we have created here. This time of year, you will find me curled up on the couch watching Hallmark Christmas movies (#SorryNotSorry) and balling my eyes out at every expected (yet unexpected) happy ending! I am also embracing the very big challenge of decorating our home. I enjoy the shopping and the Pinterest board-ing, but stop short of actually putting nails in the wall and committing to where we want to hang things! It’s a work in progress, but the process of getting there has been super fun. And if not for Joanna Gaines, I don’t know where I’d be today!

This guy right here is my better half. He is the superhero that I am lucky enough to call my husband. He is my partner in crime – in this business and this life. And for all that, I am a very lucky girl! Frank is our “gear guy” as he likes to call himself. He’s always finagling new reasons as to why we need to buy the latest and greatest camera gear and accessories. For example, we have a ton of camera bags…..only one of which is mine! He is also the one that edits your images after the shoot. And I’m in awe of how good he is at it!

Frank is originally from Pennsylvania and is a country boy at heart! Fishing, hiking, getting lost in nature…..all good by him. His day job brings him to DC where he puts on his superhero cape and fights crime all day. And I couldn’t be more proud of him! At the end of a long week, all he needs is a cold beer and some chips and guac to get him ready for the weekend. He is always the life of the party and you can’t help but have fun when he’s around. Lucky for me, I get to keep him around!

Well there you have it! Thanks for reading today’s post and for following along. We love having you on this journey with us! And we would LOVE it if we could get to know you a little better as well, so leave us your introduction in the comments below! xo
