I met this sweet friend in college at the University of Scranton. With one mutual friend and seven years post-grad, we found ourselves living in the same city attending the same alumni events. Fast forward another (cough) few years and I was incredibly honored that she thought of us when choosing photographers for her wedding. And it only took a few minutes into their engagement session for her then fiancé, Mark, and Frank to become instant friends. So I’d say this friendship is a perfect match!

Lauren-Marie and Mark’s ceremony took place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in DC. This is the church her family attends and where her sister was married so you could tell it was a place with extra special meaning. A bagpiper played outside the church after the ceremony while everyone was gathering in celebration around the newlyweds.

The reception was held at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel in Arlington, VA. Lauren-Marie’s perfectly coordinated navy, pink and white details were carried over to the reception. A vision brought to life by the incredibly talented Yvi of O’Neil Events. The couple invited Irish dancers to perform as a surprise for their guests and they kicked the night off with such a fun energy that carried through for the entire night!

To say that these two are an incredibly sweet and genuine couple is an understatement. We wish them a beautiful marriage and all the happiness in the world! xoxo
